Ram Setu Viewpoint

the Ram Setu Viewpoint offers breathtaking vistas of one of the most significant geographical and cultural features in Indian mythology: the Ram Setu, also known as Adam's Bridge. This natural formation, a chain of limestone shoals, stretches between the southern tip of India and Mannar Island in Sri Lanka. The viewpoint not only provides stunning panoramic views but also serves as a vital connection to the legends of the Ramayana, making it a popular destination for both tourists and pilgrims.

The Ram Setu is deeply intertwined with the ancient Indian epic, the Ramayana, which narrates the adventures of Lord Rama, his wife Sita, and his loyal companion Hanuman. According to the epic, the Ram Setu was constructed by Lord Rama's army of monkeys (vanaras) to facilitate Sita’s rescue from the demon king Ravana, who had abducted her to Lanka (present-day Sri Lanka). This bridge symbolizes devotion, determination, and the triumph of good over evil.
