Lakshmana Tirtham
Lakshmana Tirtham is believed to have been created by Lakshmana himself. After the epic battle against Ravana to rescue Sita, Lakshmana sought to purify himself from the sins of war. He shot an arrow into the ground, which resulted in the formation of this holy water body. This act symbolizes purification and devotion, making the site particularly sacred for followers of the Ramayana.
Visitors come to Lakshmana Tirtham to take a holy dip in its waters, which are believed to wash away sins and grant spiritual blessings. The water is often regarded as having healing properties, attracting both pilgrims and tourists seeking spiritual solace.
